Experience
Paola Rubio concentrates her practice in the negotiation and implementation of joint ventures aimed at real estate investment and participation in public or private bids throughout the Mexican Republic. Paola focuses on the negotiation and drafting of documents creating guidelines to govern joint ventures, including such preliminary documents as confidentiality agreements, memoranda of understanding, and letters of intent, as well as such final association agreements as shareholders’ agreements, by-laws, joint ventures, and partnership agreements.
Paola has been involved with foreign investors in the negotiation, drafting, and review of credit and investment agreements to fund public and private works projects and foreign investment projects in the Mexican Republic. She has wide experience in the management of shopping malls throughout the Mexican Republic, as well as hotels and condominium such as Mexico City’s World Trade Center.
In addition, Paola has ample experience in the incorporation and operation of real estate trusts for residential, commercial, and tourist purposes. Paola also has vast experience in corporate matters such as mergers, spin-offs, capital increases and reductions, purchase, sale or transfer of shares, partnership interests, and other documents that represent corporate capital.
Prior to entering private practice, Paola was a corporate lawyer at Corporativo Gutsa. Before then, she was a solo corporate practitioner and has worked as an attorney at Notary Public No. 102 in and for the Federal District.
