Experience

Gabriela Ramirez focuses on the corporate and tax development of infrastructure projects and on planning corporate and tax vehicles for residential, tourist and commercial real estate investments.  Experienced in the infrastructure industry, Gabriela has successfully represented her clients in executing strategic partnerships among Mexican and foreign companies in this industry.
Gabriela is expert in handling trusts and corporate entities that own shopping malls and business and exhibition centers, such as Mexico City’s World Trade Center.  In addition, she has provided legal counsel on condominium management in shopping malls and Mexico City’s World Trade Center.

Throughout her practice, Gabriela has worked on projects assessing the viability of land for property development.  She has also implemented infrastructure development by analyzing the applicable administrative regulations, including environmental matters.  In the course of these projects, she has coordinated licensing, approvals, and permits for various projects.

Gabriela is a former Assistant Managing Director of the Real Estate and Corporate  Office at Corporativo Gutsa,  where, in addition to performing the above activities, she was responsible for the control and management of all real estate litigation.  She was also Vice President of the Receivership Department at the National Bank of Public Works and Services (Banco Nacional de Obras y Servicios Públicos, S.N.C.), Legal Director of Internal Affairs at the Institute for the Protection of Banking Savings (Instituto para la Protección al Ahorro Bancario – IPAB), and Corporate Manager at the National Bank of Foreign Trade (Banco Nacional de Comercio Exterior, S.N.C. – BANCOMEXT).
