Experience
José Antonio Escalante is a Mexican attorney who specializes in immigration and nationality law. He concentrates on obtaining for foreign nationals and their families, whether individual or company-sponsored, the appropriate permit from the Department of the Interior (Secretaría de Gobernación) to lawfully enter the Mexican Republic and perform any activities there. José Antonio also assists immigrants who want to continue to reside in Mexico as temporary or permanent resident aliens.
José Antonio obtained his law degree from Universidad Anáhuac in Mexico City and has experience assisting foreigners who would like to gain Mexican citizenship, either through birth or naturalization. He advises and provides services relating to visas for Mexicans before Mexican embassies and consular posts worldwide. José Antonio also assists with the gathering of information that Mexicans need to obtain their work permits abroad.
